Step 3: Keeping a tight hold of dog with left hand, use the right hand, palm facing dog and say "STAY"

Step 4: Keeping your left foot in place, step off with your right foot and step directly in front of your dog. Repeat the word "STAY" Stand directly in front of your dog for a silent count of 5, then return to the dog's right side. If you dog gets up at any point, place them back into the sit position and try again. This takes time, so don't rush it.
